Bountifuel Energy (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what the Bountifuel Energy iOS app does and does not do with data.

What the app collects

• No personal data collection. The app does not collect, store, or share personal information from users.
• No analytics or advertising. We do not include analytics SDKs, advertising, tracking, or profiling.

Bluetooth

The app uses Bluetooth solely to discover, connect to, and communicate with your Bountifuel hardware during setup and normal operation. Bluetooth permissions are required for this purpose. No Bluetooth data is sent to our servers.

Network & encryption

• The app communicates only with Bountifuel services over secure HTTPS when needed (for example, to load support content).
• The app does not implement custom encryption and does not export cryptography beyond standard TLS used by iOS.

When you contact us

If you email our support team, we’ll receive the details you choose to send (for example, name, email address, logs/screenshots). We use this information only to respond to your request and retain it only as long as necessary to provide support.

Children’s privacy

Our app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your region).

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. If sharing is ever required to provide a specific feature, we will disclose it here and request any necessary consent.

Your rights

If you contact us and provide personal information (e.g., via email), you may request access, correction, or deletion of that information by emailing richard.morgan@bountifuel.energy.
